Are you wondering about the Bird Word Art you see on this site? The pieces are part of a series I have been working on for the past year. I am a writer and an artist, I've dreamed my way into blending the two together. The swooping owl was the first in this series and uses pages from the Tibetan Book of Living and Dying. The Crow and the Pelican use pages from Temple Grandin's book, Animals in Translation adding a depth of substance to the birds. Blackbird Fly came on a winter hike near my home in Colorado- I even sang the lyrics of the famous Beatles song as my dog and I waited for the full moon to rise. The Bird Word Art Wall below has it's own stories to tell.
